Music Can Help With Learning

Music is all around us. We listen to music in our cars. We sing and listen to praise music at church. We hear music being played at football games by marching bands. Think about how much music is constantly in the background when you go places and how many words your child picks up from singing songs.
One way children learn is through music. At home you can make up a song with your child to help them learn new things. You may make up a catchy song to teach your child how to tie their shoes or zip up their jackets. When you are at home with your child and you are trying to teach them something, remember there are mulitple ways to learn. But one way a child can learn is through music and this can be a great motivator to help them learn a new task or a skill.
