First Day of School

I cannot believe the first day of school is over. We started the day learning about our morning work. After we finished our morning work, we read a story called "The Kissing Hand". "The Kissing Hand" is about a raccoon who is nervous about his first day of school. We shared with each other how we felt about coming to school today. All I could hear from the kids was positive things about coming to school today. I loved hearing everyone's answers. We made a hand necklace with a heart inside to represent "The Kissing Hand" story. The rest of the morning we learned about all the centers and spent time exploring and playing in each center. I know I loved getting to know each and every child today. I already feel blessed to have a great group of kids and wonderful families. :) Thank you Families for all you do.
